So I sit here at work at 4:35am and think about a lot of things. I was just recently listening to the song "Let love in" by the Goo Goo Dolls and think it actually fits my relationship right now. We both came out of very nasty relationships and I decided to call our anniversary date the day we let love in. My boyfriend is just absolutely wonderful. I couldn't ask for someone who treats my daughter and I better.
Unfortunately this is my last week of classes so crunch time is upon me. I can't lie it has been way worse in previous quarters. I'm probably going to take classes this summer though too. I just wish this degree would be over with. It's so expensive and frustrating at times.
Well Olivia should be walking any time now. Her current favorite thing to do is run around my kitchen in her walker and pull everything down that she can and run over my toes. Silly little girl. I can't believe she is going to be a year old in 2 1/2 months.

6 month pictures and new support order
Well today I took Olivia to get her 6 month pictures done. They came out soooooo cute! I know I sound like a total cheapo but I did them in her Thanksgiving and Christmas dress. I wasn't about to spend a nice chunk of change on Christmas photos when her 6 month ones needed to be done in January. Unfortunately I was stuck in Walmart for 2 hours while getting them done because the stupid computer kept freezing up. Oh the joys of technology.
I never complain when waiting though. I guess that comes from working in the customer service sector. The wonders of the hospitality industry would cure anyone's bad attitude.
Just got my new child support order in the mail. Needless to say I'm overall pleased. Anything beats the $25/week that was previously ordered.

Jury Duty
Well a few weeks ago I had received a summons for jury duty. My juror number was 20 so I figured that I would probably be called in. I called just like the summons stated after 5pm on 1/21 to see if I had to report on 1/24. Of course they wanted numbers 1-.64.
I reported this morning at 9am to the county courthouse. There I had to watch a video (it was beyond lame) and fill out a questionnaire. The video started off with some really bad actors acting out judicial processes from the middle ages (trial by ordeal). It went on to tell us how rewarding it was to be a part of your government when serving as a juror. Sounds exciting right? Yeah, not so much.
We were then called upstairs where we entered a courtroom completely with all the players. The court clerk then drew 14 random numbers out of a box. Thankfully 20 was not one of those numbers. They went through and questioned some of the potential jurors that were part of the selected 14. As I learned having to sit through this whole thing, the case was a civil suit. The man in question was facing harassment charges and charges for violating an order of protection. The defense lawyer stated this could have be stemming from a custody trial that was in progress. So I guess regardless I would have been tossed out even if I was selected. I don't think they would have wanted me since I'm in the middle of my own custody ordeal. Thankfully I was not selected.
Now I'm just finishing off the rest of the day with my daughter. She thinks cookie monster's eyeball tastes good apparently. She is such a little ham. I think she is really starting to teethe badly. Any suggestions?

New to Blogging
I've watched one of my fellow classmates use this site for blogging. I kept telling myself I should give it a try. Not really sure what to do, so here it goes.
I have been spending a lot of time with my daughter on the floor. She is just so close to crawling. Olivia has the fundamentals but doesn't know how to put them together. She is the cutest little thing but has the biggest temper.
I cannot wait to move back to Rochester within the next few weeks. It was so nice to be out there the other day. Looking for a place has been kind of tedious though. I'm trying to find a place that is either a small house or a duplex style. I want more space since she is starting to move around more. Plus I'm sure Rylee would like some more space. I think I would just feel a little more settled with a house like place.
